My name is Shayne Simspon and I have been teaching children karate for over 17  years and have developed some unique teaching tools and value building ideas. In the next few paragraphs, I will tell you how you and your child can find this out, and more.

A Little Story

A few years ago, one of my 6 year old students was Standing on a slide about 12 feet off the ground at his local elementary school. A boy came up and pushed him off the slide. My student  had the reflexes (that he learned here at Pacific Northwest Karate Center) to tuck his chin, round off the corners of his body and slap the ground  hard with his hands and arms.  Thus saving my student  from injury. His Mother came to me. In a very emotional way she thanked me for teaching her son karate and how to fall".

Another Little Story

One day the mother of a 7-year-old students tells of her son, Johnny, who had gotten up in front of his 2nd grade class and done a small karate demonstration with the help of one of his fellow students.
