The best thing about visiting old towns holds a lot of history. Some town’s people still live in, and some became ghost towns. Here are some of the top old towns to visit. 

Corning, New York 

There are a lot of things you can do in Corning. Corning is known for its glass products. Like visiting the Rockwell Museum it is one of the most popular places in Corning. The Corning Museum of Glass is one of the rarest places to find on earth. 

You can even make your know glass creation some of the glass who is made has a historical history, and some of the glass is made by demonstrations by guest artists. The Dippity Do Dahs Homemade Ice Cream is a shop is at a location that is a historical street and the flavors are homemade. Their most popular ice cream is fudge at the bottom of a waffle cone. Make sure you visit this town not only for its ice cream but for the history the town holds. 

Laurel, Mississippi

In 1888 the city is found.  In 1942 there were over 150 companies that were busy with oil and gas drills. The town is located south of Mississippi.   This city is rated the top weekend gateway. You can visit the Lauren Rogers Museum of Art; there is a lot of type of art to see. Children can take pottery classes in the museum. There is also a park you can spend your day.  

Pilgrim’s Rest, South Africa 

Pilgrims rest a small town yet so colorful and have thrilling history. This town is discovered in September 1873 because of its gold mine flew. In 1870 this town is known as the site of digging. After many many years’ people started to leave for cities for better mining opportunities. The buildings still stand today and it is now a museum that will teach you what things look like in the olden days. This is also used as a wedding venue and if you want to take photos it is great for a background because of the old houses.
